Challenge: Outsourced IT application development and testing provider was not meeting productivity and QA requirements, while costs were exceeding the agreed contracted blended rate. Client sought assistance terminating contract and taking the capabilities back in-house
Result: Brought 1,000 previously transferred employees and 400 subcontractors in-house and implemented improved management process achieving significant quality, delivery time and cost performance improvements.
Challenge: Client needed to consolidate 15 different business units to reduce costs and release capital to invest in expanding businesses.
Result: Developed shared service model and organizations for Finance, IT, and Customer Care enabling consolidation to 3 business units. Transformation implementation services enabled client to synchronize operational, IT and infrastructure consolidation without disrupting operations.
Challenge: Our client was outsourcing the Network and IT functions across several international business units. Differences in roles and processes between each unit and the outsourcer's structure and processes were blocking migration to the outsourced model, and the client needed a means to transfer the function without impairing operations.
Our Approach: We conducted a differential analysis of functional structural and staffing, business processes and unique business requirements in each country. By leveraging our knowledge of industry best practices and effective models for managing outsourced operations, we were able to map out options to standardize each function.
Result: We developed a much more efficient centralized management structure and standardized functions and processes in all countries in a way that met all business requirements while aligning with the outsourced model. The new model enabled a 10% annual efficiency gain and the successful migration of all business processes to the outsourcer with no operational disruptions for significant operational savings while growing the business across all markets.
