Making the Outsourcing Decision

We work with our clients to define and implement the optimal in-source / outsource delivery model. If the decision is made to outsource, Vertix works closely with clients to execute an objective and efficient selection process. The key steps in the outsourcing process include:

  • Creating the self-perform vs. outsource functional and financial models
  • Developing sourcing strategy
  • Documenting requirements and desired service levels
  • Facilitating and leading vendor identification, evaluation, due diligence, and selection
  • Negotiating and drafting outsourcing agreements
  • Defining and implementing of vendor management, governance and operating models, as well as the new organization

Vertix team members have executed a wide variety of outsourcing transactions including network engineering and operations, service desk/call center, application development and maintenance (ADM), deskside / LAN support, NOC, data center facilities and managed services, infrastructure services, logistics and OSS/BSS.
